As of September 30, 2021, the minimum wage in Florida will rise to $10.00 per hour from its current rate of $8.65 per hour. The increase is the result of a state constitutional amendment that was approved by Florida voters last November, to raise the state minimum wage to $15.00 by 2026 for employees working in Florida.
