Congress Extends Payroll Tax Bill, Averts Cut in Medicare Reimbursement
(From an ACA Member Alert of February 17th) On Feb. 17, just 12 days before the two-month extension was set to expire, Congress voted again to extend a Payroll Tax Bill for the remaining 10 months of 2012. The passage of the package averts the 27.4 percent cut in reimbursement to Medicare providers, including doctors of chiropractic. President Obama is expected to sign the legislation in short order.
