Continue Messages to Florida House Members
Thank you to all who have followed FCA requests to send messages
and engage others in messaging Florida House members about the very
bad PIP bill, HB 119 by Rep. Boyd. Please
continue your activity as requested in the PIP poster issued by
the FCA, as only one committee stop remains in the House and
we believe that hearing could take place as early as this Friday,
Feb. 17. If the bill is able to clear this hurdle, it would then
be ready for floor action by the entire House.

Response to Your Request: CE Make-Up Weekend
In response to member requests, the FCA will offer a special CE
Make-Up Weekend event March 23-25 at the Peabody Orlando Hotel.
If you need more hours in order to complete your Florida DC or CCPA
continuing education requirements for the current biennium which
ends March 31st, CE Make-Up will give you the perfect opportunity.
Up to 20 hours will be offered, including all of the “required topics,”
presented by your favorite instructors. Click
here to register conveniently online or download the printable
registration form and to access reservations information for the
terrific $179 single/double group rate at the Peabody. Early bird
discounts are available until March 2nd! To ease time out of the
office for those needing all 20 hours, Friday class start time will
be delayed until 4pm (class hours 4-5:40pm and 6-7:40pm). For the
class schedule-at-a-glance to help plan your schedule, see
the registration form.
