Our Insurance Liaison office receives numerous calls requesting that we approve advertisements and/or recommend wording for advertisement.  We cannot approve any advertisement by a chiropractic office, nor can we tell you what you should or should not say in an ad.  What we can do, however, is offer the following.

Electronic Health Records: What’s in it for DCs?

Bonuses for Electronic Health Records, EHR, appear to have arrived.  We have been hearing about it for a couple of years and now there is so much information out there, it is hard to know where to start.   The most troubling questions seem to be:  What is the importance of buying right now or how long do I really have to make a purchasing decision? How can I really be sure I can trust what the vendor is telling me? What options should I consider in making a purchase?

“Red Flags Rule” No Longer Applicable to Chiropractors

Congress passed Senate Bill 3987 exempting physicians from the “Red Flags Rule.” With the U.S. Senate vote on December 2 and the House vote bill on December 7, Congress unanimously sends the bill to the President who is expected to sign the bill into law before January 1, 2011, the date the “Red Flags Rule” takes full effect on physician practices.
