Chiropractors Exempt From Massage Establishment Regulation Effective July 1, 2014

Effective July 1, 2014, chiropractic physicians, allopathic physicians and osteopathic physicians employing licensed massage therapists to perform massage on their patients at their place of practice are exempt from massage establishment licensing and regulation.

New forms of discount plans and factoring companies are contacting doctors of chiropractic. Some are well-known; however, new companies which may be unknown to you are hitting the marketplace. Their business plan is simple: offer prompt payment in exchange for the doctor accepting a discounted payment.

Support Ending April 8th for Windows XP

There is growing interest in the association between cervical manipulation and vertebrobasilar artery (VBA) stroke.  Unfortunately, opinion rather than fact has often dominated discussions on this topic, even though there has been no definitive evidence that cervical adjustments can cause a stroke. The American Chiropractic Association (ACA) is sensitive to the public’s concerns surrounding this complex issue, and has provided extensive resources to help state associations and doctors of chiropractic disseminate accurate information about the risks of serious injury following cervical manipulation.
